Hello 2012

Hello 2012, nice to meet you!

Here we are ringing in a new year and a new reason to celebrate.

This is 2011 in Grace world in pictures... Enjoy!

January: Finished Outward Bound (that's me on the left!)

A million dollar experience.
Also added these wonderful women to our sisterhood

February: Went to my first District Leadership Conference in sunny, beautiful Cali
#notcomplaining

Also, got to hang out with my two favorite nieces
March: Attended my first fraternity formal in Branson

Also, helped with my sorority's annual event Pop Tab Poker

April: Organized and implemented the first Jewell's
Day of Service with our campus minister

Attended Romeo and Juliet ballet with these beautiful women

Celebrated a one year with this guy.

May: graduation of my sisters and before mentioned man
(don't mind the hair... the wind sure didn't)

June: Turned 20 and made my first
excursion to Lawrence with this gal here

July: First summer exec with my
favorite exec board

Also, started working at this wonderful place
#whatanexperience
August: Went to my first outdoor play,
Cinderella!

Also, planned and implemented Tye-dye with ADPi

More importantly, I'm finally rooming with this gal

September: nothing too big just my sister getting married...
but really huge freaking deal

October: Homecoming 2011 with the
gentlemen of Kappa Alpha Order
So many great photo ops

You see?

Also, attended T.A.K.E. Defense which
is my sorority's other philanthropy

Also, went to Colorado Springs for Fall Break
and to the top of Pike's Peak
one off the Bucket List please. Check.

October was an exciting month.

November: I don't think I did anything to be honest... hence why there are no pictures.  I did get a pinterest account so I think that is where I went wrong.  Truly.

December: a time for all Greek Christmas parties and being elected President of my sorority

Oh, and Christmas break <3

2012 I'm ready for everything you have to bring.  BRING. IT. ON.  #letsgo

Today as part of my Sunday ritual, I was reading Post Secret and became saddened when I found out the Post Secret app had been closed.  Anyone who knows me will know that I am not one for fancy phones or fancy technology... I mean I yelled at google because it wasn't giving me what I wanted.  I do not need a smart phone.  #letsbereal

However, it saddened me that the app had to be closed due to the actions of the community.  Something meant to cause no harm and only good was destroyed by 1%.  I was disappointed in the people of our community.

Disappointment can be a powerful emotion sometimes.

Until another day then.

"There can be no deep disappointment where there is not deep love."
